Demotivational Linocuts
The patriarchy is in need of a good smash, but that starts with subtle jabs. I use source images from print ephemera to inspire my block prints that highlight the more absurd reminders of the past. I hand draw the images before transferring them to linoleum blocks to be carved out, usually adding shading and finer details as I go. This process gives me a really firm handshake that comes in handy when smashing the patriarchy in my daily life. I use safe wash relief inks from Speedball, Rives and Stonehenge papers, and lokta paper for colored editions.
It Will Be Fine
Will it be fine? Inspired by images found in a 1954 romance magazine, the sentiment here is still all too familiar. This is an original linocut edition print made with Speedball Professional Ink on Stonehenge paper. 11" by 13.75." Prints available in shop. Originally printed in 2024.

You Must Relax
For years, my parents kept a self-help book titled "You Must Relax" on their shelf and we would always comment that it seemed odd to order someone to do so. This is my homage in linoprint form. Printed with archival ink on Stonehenge paper, available in full size 14" by 20" and fun-size 11" by 14." Visit the shop to pick one up.
Sink or Swim
Created for our 2024 Smash the Patriarchy show, this one is perhaps a bit on the nose and in the gut. Not available in the shop at the moment, but if you shoot me a DM I can get one of these from the back of a truck for you. That's where we dream of the world sans patriarchy.
