Starlings are capable of intricate collective movements in the sky and make trilling sounds like they're tapped into the sounds of the Big Bang. They're also problematic not unlike humans. This starling is wondering "What Now?" I made this piece right about the time in November when I decided that 2025 was the year I was going to make art full-time, and now I'm ready to let the piece fly away to its new home while the work of making art continues. If you've wanted to own a piece of art that people ask the artist if they're selling and they keep saying "not yet," this is one of those pieces.
